Our annual report 2019-2020 is now available

In 2019-2020 we were still able to increase our support to women and children despite the devastating impact of the COVID-19 emergency.
Reflecting on a year like no other, McAuley CEO Jocelyn Bignold and Chair Dr Sonya Hood said our challenges went beyond the logistics of managing ever-changing and complex guidelines. ‘The very core of our approach has always been about social connections, a sense of community, and individual empowerment; all things curtailed by the nature of the virus,’ they wrote in the introduction to the annual report.
But creativity and innovation were also sparked, and new ways of working were trialled.
